With an early introduction to design and construction, Bito developed a passion for architecture that led him to pursue studies at Veritas University before transferring to The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. There, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture and was recognized with the President’s Honor Roll Award for academic excellence.

Bito began his professional journey at LDA Architects in San Francisco, where he contributed to a diverse range of projects and played a key role in establishing BIM standards within the firm. He later co-founded Flacorp LLC and relocated to North Carolina in 2020.

Bito has recently sold his shares in Flacorp and is now the founder of Modus Design Build, where he aims to bring his knowledge and experience into a focused approach to residential projects. Known for his strong client relationships, Bito has a proven track record of successful projects, with many clients returning for new ventures or referring others based on their positive experiences. His ability to understand client needs and translate them into thoughtful, well-crafted designs has been a key driver of his continued success.

With over 30 years of experience, Fabio Lemos Mejia has worked on a diverse range of projects both locally and internationally, spanning commercial, residential, mixed-use, and large-scale developments. He earned his Master’s degree from UCLA in 1994 and has since specialized in concept design, project management, Design-Build, and the execution of high-quality, detail-oriented projects that balance functionality and aesthetics.

Fabio’s career has been defined by his ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, designers, engineers, and construction teams. His extensive experience in development strategy and project feasibility allows him to provide valuable insights that optimize both design and investment potential.

With a strong reputation for client satisfaction and repeated business, Fabio is known for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to translate client visions into successful, well-executed projects. His expertise in team coordination and value-driven design solutions has contributed to the successful delivery of numerous landmark projects over the years.

Fabio is currently a Principal at Flacorp LLC, leading key projects in the USA and abroad. He also collaborates with Modus Design Build on multiple projects, bringing his strategic approach and design expertise to residential developments. Whether working on large-scale commercial ventures or private residences, Fabio’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and innovation continues to shape meaningful and impactful spaces.
